Privacy policy
This site collects very little, and nothing on it is sold. Here is exactly what comes in, where it goes, and how to get it back out.
This policy covers nikkiedeal.com, run by Nikkie Deal, a marketing, website, AI and operations business in California. When it says "I," that's me. When it says "you," that's you.
1.What I collect
When you use the contact form: your name, your email, your business name or website if you add it, what you write in the message box, and which option you picked (one project, ninety days, the Audit, or not sure yet).
When you ask for the checklist: your email address.
When you email me directly: whatever you put in the email.
When you visit any page: the company that hosts this site automatically receives basic technical information, the same as every website host does. That includes your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. It's used to deliver the page and keep out bots and attacks. I don't use it to identify you.
I don't ask for payment details, government ID numbers, or anything about your health on this site, and I'd rather you didn't send them through the form.
2.How I use it
- To read and reply to your inquiry, and to keep a record of it while we talk about working together.
- To send the checklist you asked for, followed by an occasional email from me.
- To keep the site running and secure.
Sending the contact form doesn't put you on my email list. Only the checklist signup does, and the note under that form says so.
3.Who else handles it
I use a few services to run this site. Each one gets only what it needs to do its job, and none of them is allowed to use your information for their own marketing.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and processes the technical information above. It may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell people from bots.
- Airtable stores the notes sent through the contact form, so I can keep track of who I've replied to.
- MailerLite stores checklist signups and sends my emails.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site. Your browser loads them from Google's servers, which receive your IP address when it does.
- My email provider holds any email you send me.
I'll also share information if the law requires it, for example in response to a valid court order.
4.What I don't do
- I don't sell your personal information, and I don't share it for advertising.
- This site has no advertising pixels, no social media trackers and no analytics cookies.
- I don't let other companies collect information about what you do on this site in order to follow you around other sites.
5.Do Not Track and privacy signals
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. Because this site doesn't track you across other sites or sell your information, there's nothing for those signals to switch off, so the site works the same whether or not your browser sends one.
6.The email list
If you sign up for the checklist, you'll get that one email, then an occasional note from me after that. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you're off the list, no questions. You can also email me and I'll remove you myself.
7.How long I keep it
Contact form notes stay with me for as long as they're useful for running the business, usually a few years for anyone who becomes a client, since that's part of my business records. Email list signups stay until you unsubscribe. If you want something deleted sooner, ask.
8.Seeing, fixing or deleting your information
Email me at the address below and tell me what you'd like: a copy of what I have about you, a correction, or for me to delete it. I'll confirm it's your email address asking, then reply within 30 days, usually much sooner. This applies to everyone, wherever you live, and it's free.
9.Children
This site is for businesses. It isn't meant for anyone under 16, and I don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent me something, tell me and I'll delete it.
10.Keeping it safe
The site runs over an encrypted connection, the form sends data to my tools through private keys that aren't in the page code, and access to my accounts is limited to me. No system is perfectly secure, but I don't keep more than I need, which is the best protection there is.
11.Changes to this policy
If I change how I handle information, I'll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant and you're on my email list, I'll tell you there too.
12.Questions
Write to me and you'll get an answer from me.
